What does it mean exactly when you look up feedback for a seller on Ebay and it says buyer private with no name or item listed. Thanks.

    It is an option when selling to have the feedback and bidder information to be private. I am sure it has real uses that make sense (selling adult material/or something else for privacy) but to me it always represents something shady and opens up for easy shilling.

    I believe it is used when trying to hide the comments of people that left positive feedback but negative comments, because they couldn't leave a negative feedback.
