Your thoughts: Submission decision based on population report?

The other day I had a question asked of me from a friend who is preparing a submission. One of his coins has a population of 1 with one of the grading services and 0 population with the other. He was thinking he would have it graded by the company with zero but thought it carried some advantages.

I told him I didn't think it mattered much especially since he plans to keep the coin. Do you think he should he care? BTW...The coin is a full guinea.

I do not think it matters. Just my opinion.

Not sure it matters. If he's keeping it he should just go with the company he prefers. If he's considering a registry at some point then he should pick the company that has the one he'd rather complete. There is a bit of coolness in a 'top pop' for some too.
