Any chance this is a 1813 109A?

I'm trying to determine if this is a 109a single leaf variety or the more common early die state, thanks for the help!

Need to get the books out on Monday. You should have an answer by then. This post will keep you on the first page of the forum so it will be seen.

That has potential for this controversial die state.
Here are 2 examples I own that you may want to use as a comp.

Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

    It's worth a shot. I'd submit it.

IIRC, Mozin has a splendid example PCGS has refused to accept. As JRocco says it is very controversial. This one didn't cut it, strangely.
    Lance.

  • Thanks guys, I was looking at the pictures on coin facts and comparing mine to attributed 109A coins, and I still wasn't sure about it. I can see how this could be a controversial variety.
