Reholdered packs don't have to go back and forth with Steve so it should take no longer than a card reholder sub takes in house at PSA.

I thought the same thing, but when I looked on line and called they said 55 business days. I really do not want to wait till mid January. What does the board think is real turnaround? Thanks.

55 bda is standard turnaround for pack submissions. I wouldn't think it would take that amount of time since reholders are done in house, but customer service is probably just looking at pack service levels and going by that.

The holder is not cracked or anything really wrong with it, I was just maybe wanting to get latest label.. Is it even worth $50 total for that? Thanks.

nope. not worth a reholder to me...especially all the potential shipping damage it could obtain in those 55 business days.

take the $50 and email these guys to make you a custom frame instead

The PSA pack holders were constructed like Fort Knox even before the card holder redesign. Definitely not worth reholdering unless the case is cracked.

Are you including shipping both ways? It's 10$ for reholder.

If I were you I'd plan on the 55 days. There is a lot of speculation about what happens to the pack if it's already graded for reholder or review. I was told Steve will get every pack regardless. You can verify this with psa automated submission online because it charges you the $5 shipping to send to bbce as expected. I think most are under the impression Steve doesn't have to reverify much, but I was told that he certainly does suggest a grade every time (told to me by him) and PSA confirms or changes (told to me by PSA cs) so he is the source it must go to. Both versions are confusing but i was told that by each. In a reholder only, I would like to think you can avoid the shipment to him for obvious reasons if no pack damage but then that means PSA is just juicing the $5 ship to Steve fee. Not sure what the whole truth is other than the appoximate guess mixed with facts above.

Thanks guys! That's why I always reach out. You are the experts and I know I can count on you. $50 going towards some good bourbon.

I was figuring $10 fee plus the $5. $18.00 shipping back and $15 shipping to PSA.

I can understand that for a review, but for a simple reholder? What would they need Steve to do for that?

Unless they decide to downgrade the grade of the pack if the wrapper has sustained any tears in transit.

Did you send your packs in for review recently? Will be interesting to see how that turns out.

I agree, the whole explanation from psa is weird to me also but I am at least a test case for review. They told me indeed they would be sending to Steve and charged the $5. They also do charge if you try online for reholder. For review, I will tell you how many days it ends up being. Clock started 9/25.

    Good luck with the sub!
