    George III, King of the United Kingdom /Britannia seated (not Neptune, although Britannia is holding a Trident). Around the year 1800. This specimen is in poor condition.

    Probably originally looked something like this:

    I wish I trusted copper. There are so many cool coppers out there.

    It's shocking how nice copper coin prices have escalated. I can remember when the British 1799 coppers were really reasonable. Now, you might as well consider the British silver and gold coins of the same period along with the coppers - the prices asked for the best copper are simply shocking.
