1971 Greatest Moments Set. My fav set of all-time. Talk about tough to put together in high or semi high grade. Just added Bench in PSA-7. Been waiting for 6 years to add that one.....

Always an honor to be just behind a hobby legend like Bob. Howdy Neighbor--how about a Gansett????

Great set for sure. I only have the Bench PSA 7 but have considered many others. Will probably go for it at some point down the road. Congrats on moving next to one of the legends.

When I saw the thread thought maybe you had moved next store to Bob and was going to offer my condolences. He would probably have drafted you to help figure out what all he has sitting around in his basement. You have to be careful down there not to trip over the various stacks of stuff.

Manny, great job on getting 100% complete on this tough set and moving in right behind Bob on the standings.

    HI Manny
I sit down at number 9 so when you upgrade and want to get rid of your cast offs, let me know. :)

Geez Manny--last summer when you moved up a spot with your 57 basketball set and were the next one behind me I didn't get this kind of fanfare lol--all I got was a somewhat harassing pm from you that said "morning! don't look now but I am right on your heels. you'll be toast in a month" with a link to the page on the registry simply titled "toast" :o I guess i'm not a hobby legend (well at least I am in my own mind lol B) . But not to worry I still love you. Congrats on movin' on up :)

    Yes.

Great set! Sometimes I fantasize about starting sets like this. Then I realize it might interfere with my wacky budget :/

    Manny,
Congrats on getting to 100%. I was hoping for a you're-toast email (ummm.....toast), but this will have to do. It looks like you'll have a reasonable chance of catching me, but I don't think either of us is going to catch the guys at the top. Lordy, there are some impressive sets up there.

Thanks Dave, appreciate it--I'm glad at least one person bothered to read my post. And it's always nice to be complimented rather than harassed :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DAVE--Forgot about that email. And just for the record you WOULD HAVE BEEN TOAST had I not started my Tom Brady Master Set--.

Bob--actually completed the set years ago--slowly inching up. Many of these cards do not come up often as you know. And I agree--might catch you if you aren't still trying to move up--and someday might to #4...but It'll end there. No way I could ever catch the top 3. But #4 or even 5 is really good on this set

Kevin--I did not realize you were right behind me. When I won these 4 cards from PWCC last month I sent in their replacements for consignment. So there will be a few more in the upcoming PWCC auction for November
