My first 1952 Topps high number

I started collecting the 1952 Topps set about a year ago with the plan being to just do cards 1-310. I recently decided I wanted to have at least one high number (we'll see if I can stop at one). I'm pretty happy with this PSA 4 of Frank Crosetti, who was with the Yankees for 37 years as a player and coach. Incredibly, he played in nine world Series and coached in 14 others.

You know that you are now doomed to complete the set.....................or at least try! ;-)
Sweet looking card. A lot of World Series experience. Wow!
That's a realty nice card congrats.
Congratulations Daniel.
I picked up a couple of lows this week - should be in tomorrow.
You are on the slippery slope Daniel. The Canadian gray backs and Mantle, Robinson and Thompson variations will be next :-)

Nice pickup! I don't collect 1952-1956 Topps, but is anyone who does bothered by the way the PSA logo on the case for these cards overlays the lower right hand corner, making it hard to inspect that corner for wear?
I was actually just thinking about this the other day. I was going to start a thread on it. There's no reason why the logo cant be in the upper part of the holder, where the 'flip' is.
And I know! It's gonna be hard just having one high number - like a lot of us here, I have trouble focusing on what I start to collect. I do know I'll never get the Mantle though
Never say never!
Good for you

A really nice looking 4.
Daniel,
Congrats on your pickup. It is a very nice looking card for the grade. That is a terrific first pickup for the high numbers.

Great looking card for the grade. Enjoy.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I have very few 52's but have been looking and am trying to hold off. I had to limit myself a couple years back to only have two or three things at a time that I'm looking for. I stick to it, most of the time. Good luck trying to stick with just one!
