A PSA graded set with tabs went for $2600 tonight. I thought hard about jumping in but didn't pull the trigger. Did I make a mistake?

possibly. Raw sets with tabs have typically gone for $3000-$3300 pretty consistently for the last 10 years I've been tracking them. The good news is 1-2 a year come up, so you'll have another shot.
