For sale MA-115E-2a Joseph H. Merriam storecard (civil war token) from the famous Alan Bleviss Collection, NGC MS63RB, with very pretty colors. $650 shipped.
My photos do not do this piece justice. Just a very pleasing, colorful example that was good enough for master collector Alan Bleviss as well as my own extensive Merriam collection until I acquired the Tanenbaum/Fuld specimen. In fact, I kept this one over a higher graded piece that I owned simply for the eye appeal.
This variety comes up with a lot less frequency than the more well known "Good for a Scent" token, which shares the Joseph H. Merriam, Medalist obverse.
