I would say this would be good for catching 2 to 3 pound bass. It's a too dull to catch anything bigger.

              1. I cant tell about the luster in these photos, but it does appear to have been clean years ago. If not it has all the properties of a 64. I would have to hold this one...it is a tough one to nail down. And that big ugly black spot at the E in dime...yuck!

Looks unc, no marks or anything but dull as dull can be. Not a coin I would buy. Could be a nice AU to
                PCGS.

Fairlaneman, is this better...... I give it 2 fish rating out a 1 to 10 fish scale.

              6. Looks like a 64 but the picture is too small on the FSB aspect of it. It also appears quite dull, possibly cleaned, just like everybody else said, in which case I won't comment. image
              7. Cleaned and is not fsb

Looks AU-58 possibly MS-60 at best to me. Not FB at all.

It looks AU and most likely cleaned to me, but as always it is tough to tell from a scan. The cheek looks really funny compared to the rest of the obverse to me. Where did you find this one?

Looks to me like it was dipped to remove heavy dark toning and thus would receive a body bag from PCGS. Additionally, it does not appear to have FB.

Based on the scan, I'd say AU55.

AU-53, by the scan all the obverse high-points seem rubbed.

Five Pound Bass Do Rule as long as its a Small Mouth. What Fighters they are. Columbia River is known for Salmon and Steelhead but some Great Small Mouth Fishing is Available.
On to the Lure in Question. Just had to Buy the thing to see what it Looks like Up Close. Looks like it could go low MS possibly which would be a plus as it cost $55.00 from a Yahoo Auction. Real Decent Strike for the Date caught My eye. Might Lose a Buck or Two on it but Oh Well I had to see the Coin.
Thanks for the Opinions. Boy did they Vary.

                      Ken,

Once you receive the coin, please pull this thread back up and post to it as we are all interested to see what you think of the coin when you have it in hand. Good luck!

                      Ken,

When you get the coin, it might be interesting to see a photo of it from you, alongside the scan.

                    3. I was thinking it was a pretty decent MS coin, say 65 or 66 not FB. After reading the other responses I have strong doubts about my grading abilities! Anyway wouldn't dipping remove the haze/tone it has now?

edited to ask: "I mean if the coin were dipped would it retone like it has already? Would that black spot on reverse develop after a dipping?"

                      Carl:
I think the Picture just Shows how Deceptive a Picture can be. Your Grading Skills are Probably Just Fine. Usually I stay away from Pictures that look like this one but the Coin was Cheap Enough so I took a shot at it.
