eBay seller has the same card for sale, two different auctions?

Thought you can’t do that? One is listed for $29.99 one is listed for $34.99. Both have the same cert number. Seller has 100% feedback (3300) and I asked them what the deal was. Said I would get the exact card and cert pictured. Is this allowed? They trying to bait someone to buy the higher priced card?

That is definitely weird. Its like this guy who has 2 of the same sticker but with different years on the label and he's trying to play off the mistake as a 1/1 highest graded because PSA's Pop Report only has a few cards graded under the wrong year. I pointed out that PSA mislabeled the year to him in a message but he ignored me while doubling down on the mistaken Pop Report number. These stickers were for the 1988-89 season and PSA mostly goes with the earlier year on their flips when it comes to basketball.

edit: you can always buy both cards just to see what the guy sends you then return one.

I’m not overly concerned since I would pay via credit card and PayPal and he has 100% feedback. However just thought it was odd I noticed he has a few for sale, and PWCC is selling some with consecutive cert numbers just under his. I guess he is selling some on his own and consignment.

Maybe he just used that one scan as a stock photo for the other listing and was too lazy to change it. It definitely is a head scratcher especially if he's trying to sell his own card while PWCC is as well.

No he has like 6 of these I think. Some of his lower cert #’s are via PWCC. Cards 27370020, 13 and 17 I think he’s selling. But he has two auctions for each one. One high price one low. Like he’s trying to get the most exposure for his cards.

Seller finally realized what I was saying. He erroneously used the same pic over again for another auction. He’s selling like 10+ of the same card and said he must’ve overlooked using the same pic twice. Matter resolved.
