Or whatever idiotic number had been projected as they limp toward 100.
Quite a late in the season speed bump.

they have struggled lately with a few injuries and plain old wear-and-tear that happens over a long season. I don't follow them closely but imagine some of it may be due to starters resting. my thought is that they will struggle to win 110-115 even though that once seemed a certainty.
they should watch out or they'll get an October surprise named the Arizona Diamondbacks. that Team, along with Cleveland in the AL are really playing strong. again, I can't speak for Arizona but the Indians still have two position starters on the sidelines along with Andrew Miller, just got a couple bodies of the DL this week. despite that they are in the midst of Team record win streak, sitting at 14 with Kluber starting tonight.
MLB is funny, through the whole season we tend to focus on hitting and offense although it's usually pitching that wins titles. Cleveland almost won last year with three starter out during the playoffs at different times. now those guys are all healthy and the BP seems stronger. it should be a fun post season run.
Last night they couldn't hit. Got beat 3-1 by the Diamondbacks.
With 23 games remaining, they would need to win 18 to get to 110 and all of them to get to 115.
105 or maybe 107 is more likely.
Only 107 wins oh thats terrible , truly an epic fail of a season .
Slow your roll, cowboy. 107 is impressive but I was referring to Keets likley unobtainable numbers. Two runs in three games might be problematic if world series rings are the goal.
2 more losses. The team of the century may not get to 100 wins.
No I don't want to bet.
Just a possibility.
...about to drop another. Season is turning into an epic fail.
hope they turn around when it counts
Looks like the law of averages caught up with them. This, after they were firing on all cylinders for so long. Maybe it's good that they get this streak out of their system now. Then a week prior to the playoffs they can turn it around and revert to their winning ways.
Law of averages explains a 4 or 5 game losing streak. Something is amiss in Mudville.
