2002 Sacagewea PR69DC

Do you think this one will have the lowest pop due to the poor quality that seems to be out there. Do you think a good example could prove to be a fairly desireable coin despite the amount of Sac bashing that seems to be prevalent among alot of collectors?

I think it's possible, in the long run, the MintState coins may be difficult in MS67 but the PR69DCAMS will be more plentiful as more are screened and submitted.

  • I think the proofs in higher quality won't be rare. The MS strikes so far have been very poor , but as the mint makes " new " rolls , and the mint sets come out , hopefully higher quality coins will be able to be found. I think the rolls of 2002 P " circulation " strikes have been sold out , so as they make new ones for " collectors " , maybe the quality will improve.

  • I bought a roll of the P&D 2002 SAC's from the mint and found nothing worthy of submitting. Hopefully, when the mint sets come out some of the higher grade mint state coins can be found. As to the proofs, I have 20 in for grading right now. Expect to receive several PR69 Dcams. These are already showing up on ebay in quanities, so I don't expect them to be too rare.image
