I did a quick search on eBay and a couple other places and couldn't find any info. Has anyone seen these? I appreciate your time in advance!
Thanks

That's new to me, but absolutely amazing! I've always hoped to find a 1990 Topps RC without the white reverse.
I assume the reverse on 1991 Donruss was a 3-step process, yellow, cyan, and black. This looks rather intentional, maybe it was a black plate alignment test?
May I ask how you came across this?
BunchOBull - It was in a lot that I picked up off eBay a few days ago. It was actually in a 4-Screw holder with a $15.00 price sticker on it and marked "White Back". You couldn't read the sticker in the picture though. I appreciate your time!
Thanks
Craig
If you decide to part with it, please think of me. I specifically collect variations like this in my Thomas collection.
BunchOBull - Will do. I contacted the seller to ask about it. He said he won it at a local auction. He's located in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. May just toss it on eBay with a high BIN and she what happens. Maybe someone will see it and have some info. In a previous life, I was a hardcore Andre Dawson Collector. He was in the set and I've never seen this variation.
Thanks
Craig
Question - will psa grade that? Other than the slight tilt, it looks almost flawless. Almost to the point where I wonder if it's hand cut from something.
these people seem to list 2 variations ...white and tan back
but im cluelesss

Both of those still have the blue border, not completely white back.
Batpig - I thought about that as well. I would guess no since I can't find any info on it. Don't you have to be able to provide them with a checklist or something for them to add a card? I could always email them...
lawyer05 - You did better than me! I didn't even find that page while searching!
LarkinCollector - You were one of the player collectors I thought about when I posted. Being a former Dawson Collector and knowing how it feels when you see a "new" variation, I imagine some hands slapped foreheads but were accompanied with a slight smile. The chase...
Thanks
Craig
I would not expect PSA to grade it, but BGS most likely would. If anyone happens to run across a Larkin like that, let me know. For now, I'll assume one doesn't exist so I can sleep well at night.
I really suspect a reverse plate proof run "accidentally" or otherwise was slipped into a stack of finished reverses and received a full press on the front, more so than this being a planned variation.
Ross I can never tell with the Griffey, but do you know if that is a factory set or pack version?

Good thinking John, it's the packed out variety. If it had been the factory, it would almost certainly be sheet cut.
I decided to toss it on eBay and see what happens. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out...
