Are those five marks/notches on the sides evidence this was cracked open?

I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.

    I don't believe you can crack a BGS case and not do permanent visible damage. Like a missing corner.

    I just checked out one of my BGS cards and there are what look like pressure points in the slab at those spots. Could just be more visible because of the angle from the pic taken. I wouldn't worry about and you could always just ask the guy about it.

    I can vouch for this. I've cracked a lot of BGS slabs when I was still collecting. It is impossible to crack without creating extremely obvious signs.

    Did you ever get that card from 4SC that was stuck in transit?



    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Nope(wasn't 4SC). They refunded money after 30 days and claimed they were looking for it to. USPS closed out two consecutive inquiries by me without telling me the results. Its clear they got it back. They never offered me another of the card even though they had four or five more listed for sale(for higher prices).

    BGS slabs are virtually impossible to crack open and replace the card. I wish PSA would make their slabs as difficult.
