4SC - Scottsdale Baseball Cards

On the backs of two cards I bought from 4 Sharp Corners is Scottsdale Baseball Cards price tags.

Scottsdale price tag is $12.00 each , 4SC sold them to me for $8.50 each.

Strange ........?

I have been told that representatives from 4SC scout many shows especially the National in search of raw cards and possibly graded to try and buy to make a profit on. I would assume that either 4SC bought these cards and they were discounted over time, (as they do for cards that sit for longer periods), or they received those cards for cheaper than that asking price and made a profit on them. I've often wondered if 4SC scours the Internet looking for lots and graded to buy? Besides BBCE of course.

they lose money on every sale but make it up in volume.

I saw the Scottsdale tags in the high resolution back scans that 4SC uploaded for the $8.50 cards. I just figured they were now selling the ad space to sponsor back scans.
