Ebay Feedback

Hello everyone, when you buy something on EBAY do you look at the sellers feedback that they have left for the winning bidders or feedback they received only? The reason I ask, when I sell things on EBAY it seems that 3 out of 10 people leave feedback anymore while I leave it for them. Is this a recent problem or am I just late to the no one leaves feedback party? Thank you in advance to your thoughts and replies.

When it comes to buying i only checkout their seller feedback if its below 100% positive. As for feedback the seller leaves for his/her buyers, they'll usually get around to it eventually even if its months later and there's not much you can do about it. You could always send the seller a quick message saying the item arrived and you'll be leaving positive feedback then ask them to do the same.

I've found when I sell I get feedback left around 40% of the time, so not far off from you. It's annoying because I try to leave feedback when I ship something out and it would be nice if they returned the favor assuming there's no issues. As far as when I buy, I rarely check the sellers feedback. If it's not 100%, then I might check, but if it's 100 I don't.
I dont usually check a persons feedback unless it is below 98% or so. With the way ebay FB works now, someone can have 2000 positives and 1 neg and it will show at 95% if they havent sold a lot lately, so it usually turns out to be nothing. For me the feedback system has become a joke, there shouldnt be FB for buyers at all since you can build up FB by buying a lot and screwing someone over for big money. The star rating system is a bigger joke
