2011 Topps Update

JimMeantJimMeant Posts: 341 ✭✭✭

2011 Topps Update is becoming a very nice modern issue to collect. We all know that the Trout rookie powers the set but other superstars seem to be gaining steam from this set including:

Altuve
Goldschmidt
Rizzo
Blackmon
Freeman

My question revolves around the cognac & diamond parallels. Does anybody have an idea as to which parallel is more rare and sought after? Also, does anyone have an idea as to the print run on these parallels?

Eric Hosmer is another pretty decent rookie in the set. Very briefly late in the season
he had his batting average over .330, then hit a cold spell and finished at .318.

I had two Hosmers' graded a few years ago, both got PSA 10's. Picked up a Trout rookie
on ebay and want to get the rest of those that you mentioned.
In my opinion, the Goldschmidt appears to be the most undervalued. I do realize Goldy
has a Bowman Chrome auto, but so does Trout.
I think J.D. Martinez is another rookie in the set.
The diamonds are more sought after than the cognacs.

I agree, Darin. The Paul Goldschmidt RC is undervalued. I see pin-stripes in his future which would bring it up considerably. Just my 2 cents.
