Looks like there are (2) one of one's for a card we have. Just saw the other listing on e-bay. Exact same card. Does this happen very often? Not sure what to do about it. It's a several hundred dollar card.

Are the cards serial number John?
Or just a 1/1? Fer sure the card company could've screwed up and given the same designation to 2 cards. Are they exactly the same - could one be a parallel that's not easy to pick up on a scan.
Topps Chrome has gone nuts this year - you can have the base card and a ton of parallels.

Pictures would help solve the mystery.
I suspect one of them was 20pt stock and the other was thick like a blank filler card...Panini has done this with several releases.
I will post pictures but wanted to hear from the other seller first to eliminate fraud. Seems odd to call a card 1/1 and the only difference is the thickness of the stock. IMO, dilutes Panini's brand by making 1/1 really 1/2.

I agree. Last year's Panini National Convention cards were the same...this thick card is currently for sale at COMC:
And I know a guy who has the same card, on regular stock in his collection.
The 1/1 card we own is 80 pt stock; so it's the thick variety. I've pinged the seller of the other card and asked if his is the thin one. Going through the rest of our stock and looking on-line, it appears you are correct and there are 1/1's that are exactly the same, other than the thickness.
Sidenote; BCW's thickness guage has 15 sizes. So Panini could literally have 15 different 1/1's in all different sizes; all cards would look identical on e-bay because no-one takes a photo of the side of the card. And with Panini's varieties of refractors that are hard to tell apart, you could have 100 1/1's that all look virtually the same. IMO, dilutes the 1/1 designation and damages their brand.
