I'm new to the modern, but have bought some unopened of the Archives & Heritage this year. Before going headfirst into Chrome, wanted to get thoughts on which is the most desirable issue of the 3. My question is around Blasters specifically, but feel free to bring in to the discussion other packs/boxes if it makes sense. Thanks in advance!

John, depends on what your looking to pull, going with blasters which is retail does not give you get odds in pulling the big auto or sp. The hobby boxes is were you have better odds. If your looking to just rip packs , then blaster are a great value and sometimes you get some hits. Chrome has some really good rookies to choose from and is my favorite.

I have a lot of experiece in retail this year. Judge mania has made retail almost disappear all together around the all start break. Unless your retail outlet sees a lot of business, you won't be able to find much heritage or archives. Chrome came out a few weeks ago and started out hot, but Judge has slowed down, so people are buying less. I will also caution you that collectors have been having damaged card issues with target blasters. If you decide to go chrome, then try to find a walmart.
Heritage has less in it than the other two. Again this issues is almost 100% fueled by the Judge RC. There are also purple hot boxes and if you hit a Judge there you just tripled your money. The 9.99 boxes are often searched, not of autographs but for the bigger game used autograph cards. You can tell by the bent boxes at the top.
Archives was a nice product too, A good selection of Judge there and some nice autograph hits if you hit them. Early blasters seemed hot, and then cold. If you pull some nice low numbered cards from one blaster good chance the other are hot too.
TC is hard to find, if you can get one of those 34.99 boxes at walmart those are nice. The retail exclusives and especially the pink refractors, are very collectible. Chrome and heritage will hold its value better than the archives. Have fun and let us know what you pull.

I passed on 2 Chrome blasters at my local Target. Also passed on loose Archives packs as probably searched.
