Philly Sports Card (Valley Forge) show feedback?

I got a an email from PSA saying they will be at this show in September. Is this usually a worthwhile show for vintage (post-war to 1975 or so)?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Dates are 9/22 - 9/24. There is also one in December. I guess this is a quarterly thing maybe.

Years ago, when I lived around Philly, this was a really good vintage show.

They have the show 3 times a year. March, September & December. I'm local so I attend pretty much every show. It's a great opportunity to drop off any submissions you may have for PSA & save on shipping out to Newport Beach. They also get some pretty big names for autograph signings -- I've seen everyone from Willie Mays to Carson Wentz there. If you are within a 2 hour drive or so, definitely worth checking out in my opinion.

I was there in December. Good crowd. A lot of mid grade raw stuff. A lot of baseball (which I don't collect) and some football, basketball and hockey. Wish there was more football. I bought a couple low pop mid 60's cowboys that I submitted to PSA and did well on.
I'm an hour and 45 minutes away and plan to attend in September.

I did not see much high grade football there with the exception of one dealer who had fantastic stuff (Rice rookie in PSA 10, etc) -but sadly none of the high grade Cowboys I was looking for. But made a new contact.

SGC, PSA and Beckett were there, so nice option to submit items and save shipping / risk getting items to the third party grader. I think they did auto authentication on site. They have auto guests but cater to the local sports teams (understandably) - I can't speak to that part as - well, I'm not a fan of Philly anything. ;)
