Holy cow luck
So this just happened...walking back from a fest with my wife just now and saw a garage sale packing up...went over there, which I never do, and asked the woman if she had any baseball or Pokemon cards...she got her husband from inside and they didn't have anything out but he was a major collector in the late 80s early 90s of basketball stuff and went to the shows etc....long story short he wanted to unload it all. I went through one box of perfect mint 90 fleer basketball and saw every year stadium club and special kind of boxes etc...made a deal and he threw in this saying it'll probably be the most expensive thing out of the bunch and he knows I got a steal...great dude in retirement...I left him with 5 Jordan autos with coas as I couldn't get myself to do anymore and told him what I thought those values were and he still wanted me to buy them..probably will go back as they were all encased in glass and gorgeous. I need to get back for the 5 monster boxes but here's the throw in item.
Mike, thanks for taking my call...I was freaking out as I never do this and my wife was just so blown away as it's just out of character and think I just scored 2 weeks of work...so much for my common card boxes. These are all full sets and factory and things I've never seen...but I'm hoping for earlier fleer of course..I'll keep posted..by for now.

Very nice find. Post more picts when you can.
Actually not sure this was that good...haven't gone through all the boxes yet although there are some indications that I'll have some decent cards, but I'm concerned about this star sheet as PSA doesn't even grade these cards...does anyone have any real insight here? Think I got duped although the guy seemed pretty genuine.
wow, way cool find
Holy cow, I just noticed your post now. I posted finding a Star sheet in my garage about 45 mins after your post. How nuts is that? Great find!

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
