Question for modern card collectors/prospectors

If a raw auto card sells for $75ish, how much would/should that same auto card in a Gem 9.5 Auto 10 grade sell for? Here is the raw completed auction for reference.

  • Lots of variables depending on the prospect and how tough that particular issue is regarding condition. For that card, I would list a 9.5 w/10 Auto at a $254.99 BIN with Best Offer and see what happens. If the prospect starts to get hot and takes off, someone may just hit your BIN. According to BR, he is 10-6, 3.56 ERA and 11.4 SO/9 in Triple AAA and is drawing comparisons to a young Dwight Gooden. Good luck!

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.

Thanks for the response and insight. I appreciate it. With regard to your username, does spin come before push off, or after push off?

It comes before winning six out of six titles, but after being the GOAT! And I'm happy to help. I love researching prospects. One guy I am "prospecting" is Walker Buehler, pitcher for the Dodgers.
