Very strange mail week.
Yesterday my wife gets 2 separate packages in the mail. They were the same identical shirt from the Gap. The problem is that she did not order them and neither did I. Both packing slips had 2 different credit cards used and the last four digits on both were not ours. After speaking to someone at the Gap, they could not figure anything out and told us to keep the shirts. Funny thing is that they were my wife's size.
Well today I get a small package in my Post Office box from Topps USA. The note basically reads that they cannot send me the card as listed on the packing slip.....a Darin Mastroianni Autograph and sent a replacement card and a bonus card. Scan attached. The Shaffer is a refractor.
I have no idea about any of this. I did not order anything from Topps or send in a winning game card or anything. So as I said. This is a very strange mail week.

Wow, that is strange.
I think I remember that if you're sent something in the mail that you "didn't" order? You don't have to return it.
Q: How many alzheimers patients does it take to order a package online?
A: To get to the other side
all around collector of many fine things
Free stuff is always cool especially free autos. I agree on it being a weird mail week. I bought a card from an ebay seller that is about an hours drive from me here in Mass and was expecting it in the mail possibly the next day, then the tracking had it going all the way to Virginia before heading back to Mass. Now i'm just hoping I see it this week.

Who's name was on the topps package? The letter? You've never signed up or given them your address?
My name and address was on the package and yes they have it on file because I logged into their site before. But I have not been on their site for several years.

I can't speak for the Topps cards, however, the shirts "coincidence" sounds suspicious.
It might be possible that someone was trying out stolen credit cards on harmless purchases. If, so, they might have used the address of another stolen card, yours. I'd check your credit cards
for suspect purchases ASAP just to be on the safe side.
I agree - could be a sign of credit card fraud. They may have changed a stolen cc to your address as a test, for example, or else opened cards in your name, as another example.
I had Topps send me cards a year or two ago the same suspicious way.
