Toned Charlotte Gold - SOLD

Originally bought this incredibly toned coin to keep forever in my Box of 20.

I don't think I have ever seen one with this level of coppery toning. This photo does not do justice to the richness of color or the level of luster. This is a beautiful coin!

Only 2 CACed in this grade, with 30 better. So most have been messed with, but not this one.
$2750 OBO by check or PPG.

    As most of these have been cleaned at some point and have no character, who wouldn't rather have this than one that is abnormally bright?
    A few extra dollars would be well spent.

    Have you spoken to @jwitten about this one? He does toned gold, though of course I can't speak for any interest he may or may not have in this coin.

    I have admired it before, but it's out of reach.

    He has, and I've had my eye on it. It's a little more than I like to spend on one coin for the moment though.
