1973 cello FB box with pictures

So been at BBCE to inspect the cello packs and get resealed in the box. As Steve and I were going through the tight cellos it was discovered that there was a Shell rc, Youngblood rc, Harris rc, Bradshaw all on fronts with Unitas on the back of a pack. Took some cool pictures and here is a tease. So lucky to have so many studs on front and backs. Best box I've ever owned and will ever own.

Thx...with so many monster packs it would be so cool to display in PSA 8 and 9 holders but I'm happy to have pictures and the box in tact. Just bizzare to see so many multiple hofers showing in one box. We counted 7 that we knew for sure.

Again, goes to show how great Steve is...not only did he not pull these packs prior and/or try to make more off the box, but he was willing to rewrap and label in detail all the studs which was more than double what he originally saw prior to my purchase at the national. Class act.

That is one fine box. Congrats on a great pickup! I remember buying a few packs of 73T Football when they came out. I still have the cards but they are in VG or so condition.

I don't recall seeing a checklist but would have brushed over it..don't think so though..almost certainly not on the front of any packs.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.

Incredible box, congrats. Can't say enough about how above board Steve is when it comes to selling his product and leaving stars on top. Way to go on this score!

AND THAT IS WHY WE COLLECT!!!

.....anyone who's heart rate increased while looking at those packs understands why we love to collect this cardboard....thats the best way i could put it....if that doesn't get u going, well, .....
...its almost a crime to wrap up the box and put it away versus displaying it in its entirety..

Thanks again everyone. I tend to agree that it should be displayed but at this time I'll probably just get a couple nice 9s or 10s from 1973 to display next to it. I'm a sucker for cool ways to display our cards/packs/boxes.

Steve should have put Bobby Bells' name on the box instead of Franco Harris.

Ok, I retract what I said.
He should have included Bobby Bell and Jack Youngbloods' name on the box.

Chiefs fan and I can remember Bobby Bell. 9 times in the pro bowl deserves his name on back of box.

    Just awesome Steve.

On the Bradshaw - did you look really close to see if the "wrapping" affected the corners?

    It's a great card!

    Thanx buddy.
