A fellow in the CT/NY area on CL sent out images of some notes he was looking to get offers on. What is reasonable assessment of notes like this, presuming you are just going to try to resell them. One ED $1 note, and four small size Nationals. Nationals were Tulsa, OK, Danbury, CT, Bridgeport CT and NY. My quick research showed that retail would be a little over $500. The guy said he had an offer of $370. I decided that was fair and bowed out not wanting to get into a bidding match.

    I would say you did the right thing. In my opinion (sight unseen), $300-$350 would be the limit.
