Selling Entire Collection

Hi all,
I have decided to sell off my entire collection of silver coins. There are too many to list here. I don't want to part them out. I am in the middle of making a complete list. I should have a complete list by next week. I have mostly Morgans, Peace, Silver Eagles, proofs with boxes and COA's, and raw ones also, Many commemorative .999 silver bullion coins . Kennedy halves, franklins, some circulated buffaloes nickels, Walking liberty Quarters, and various other proof coins along with raw stuff. If anyone is interested in the list and wants pictures please let me know. I hope this post is within the rules. Thanks and have a great day

Good observation, I am a member of many forums. Some of which I am very active, and others like this one, not at all. Your question I could almost consider a swipe that I have nefarious intentions. Far from it. As a person who has collected coins I felt this a proper place to post thinking educated people here may be interested! Nothing wrong with me never posting, I didn't think

I was hoping for a legit offer for the entire collection, that's why I posted here. Everyone here seems to know the value of collectible coins. I don't expect to be low balled here. At least I hope not ;)

I would also trade it al for a nice antique pocket watch collection.

I collect pocket watches that are of different styles and makes. I prefer to buy ones in a gold case instead of silveroid cases or gold filled. Although I will buy those if the movements are high quality. I like Railroad pocket watches made by Hamilton, Elgin, Waltham, Illinois, with high end movements.

From what I have heard over the years, it would surprise me if you weren't lowballed by at least a few. :(

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Only if I still have my old collection... I won an live auction of a huge silver pocket watches mix lot weighted close to 15 lbs from local TV show in the late 90's when I was a young soldier stationed in GA. And it was lost when I shipped it back home. Insurance paid $2500, but some of the pieces were priceless.

For those that are interested in my collection, please keep in mind that normally a precious metals buyer/refiner will pay 80% of spot on .900 silver, 82% on Sterling, and 85% on .999 pure. Some will pay a little more but this is the average based on the refiners I have dealt with in the past.
So today a Morgan or Peace that's in terrible shape will bring $13.00 and all other .900 coins once they weigh 31.1 grams, or an ounce, will pay the same.....
At one time I was buying and selling Gold and Silver, so I'm not to uninformed when it comes to "junk" as we like to call it.
I don't mind selling the VF-G coins as "junk" but I'm not going to sell what I consider decent coins for that so make a legitimate offer and I will either counter or not. Please no more lowballs. I have had several people offer me $8.00 an ounce which I find quite amusing.
    Thanks everyone and happy hunting!

Yeah....regrettably, I kind of thought that would happen.

There was a member on here years ago who posted some raw gold coins for sale. I'm not "mr gold", by any means, and was worried about getting fake (maybe even not gold) classic coins from a seller who didn't post much.

We came to a quick, and easy, deal where he would ship first and then I would pay him if satisfied (or return the goods if not). I made him an offer a small % bit below PCGS values (and what some of the recent, slabbed, sales were...since they were raw). He quickly accepted the terms and sent them.

We talked a bit more, after I accepted them and I apologized for what I considered low prices.....they just weren't a priority to me and weren't worth more (to me). He said he was more than happy with my offer after all the lowballs he had received here (50% below he said, in some cases....and definitely way below melt....I didn't get that, but it was what he said...wow!).
He also said he didn't want to spend a lot of time trying to sell as he wanted to spend his remaining time (late stage cancer) with his family.

I tried to contact him, to see how he was going, a little more than 6 months after, and he was no longer coming online here....I hope he got what he wanted with his family and enjoyed his remaining time...and I have enjoyed the coins I purchased from him (haven't sold any of them) and, while we didn't know each other well, I still think of him in fond terms as we got along well in PMs and on a personal level.

I wish you the best with getting good offers.

Ok so all the halves, quarters and dimes are GONE. Was able to get 12.5 FV
The 1881 CC GSA is also GONE
