We are offering some amazing coins this week, as the last major auction prior to the Denver ANA.
$10 Indians - an amazing 1907 graded NGC MS-68 which is tied for finest known with just a few other examples. No NGC has ever sold publicly in MS-68, although a PCGS MS-68 CAC sold for over $170,000 a few years ago. Another highlight (which was originally in the same collection as the 1907) is the 1910-D graded PCGS MS-67, also tied for finest with just a few others known. Another high grade rarity is the 1795 Half Dime graded NGC MS-66 with Star Designation.
The Capistrano Collection is featured (bidding is already over $100,000) with a really nice selection of mostly CAC approved coins. An 1807 Quarter, 1921 Peace Dollar, an 1879-CC Double Eagle from the Newman/Green collections and a 1907 High Relief Saint-Gaudens graded PCGS AU-58 CAC.
