Swiss Melt
My two latest acquisitions, circumstantially, are both Swiss.
The first is Zohar's fault, because he regularly puts evil thoughts in my mind as to how to expand my collecting interests ( and in other ways, as now I am listening to Chopin's Polonaise Op. 53 in A flat major. Zohar's fault. He knows why.) Anyway, this is a Bern school medal, 1/4 taler size, 6.93 grams. No where near as nice as the one I purchased from the aforementioned individual, but neat, in its own way.

The second is a taler that continues to fascinate me. This is my fourth one. I love the design and now it holds a special attaction along with the Haitian Gourde of the late 1880s and the 1935 "Rocking Horse" crown.
