weve left, but here's a huge tip for those staying at the embassy. one of the three elevators is crapped out and caused a fire evac on wed. other 2 dont even open on certain floors...

anyways, depending on time it can be a 30 min wait and then a real possibility of not even stopping on your designated floor and yes, actually getting stuck. happened to wife on 1st day for about 15 mins w full cab.

but heres the tip...walk up to 2nd level and hit the service elevators on the other side, exact opposite of reg elevators.

it will save you hours, headaches and those precious legs/feet after standing/walking all day long.
