No wax. I picked up one of the cellos that had Bradshaw and Harris on top...hope someone cool grabs the other one...real nice shape and Steve told me about the origin of the boxes...very pleased and a great add to the collection.

Got to see Steve's box in person and talk about an absolute monster of a box. Just an awesome pickup!

Yep...saw a 1973 football wax box authenticated by BBCE already. It isn't at Steve's booth though. It looked clean!

Meet a guy at Regency today that says he bought the '73 football cello box from steve. Says he going to rip it. Fell off my bar stool.

Steve remains the coolest in the hobby...he just got done telling me the story that someone was hovering over me to buy my box and he couldn't pull the trigger on Tuesday when he saw it. He ended up buying the other cello. Best part is I'm taking the box into the shop to take pictures of the packs on black felt and he's resealing it for no charge...not sure if he is doing this because I've been a long time customer of his or he's just a great guy..regardless, I'm pumped and wanted to share.
