Arghhh - No rolls of quarters!

I went to 8 banks today. Two were closed. Of the remaming SIX a grand total of ZERO had original mint-wrapped rolls of statehood quarters. Looks like I may have to break down and buy rolls from the mint to have unsearched, uncirculated rolls to search. Arghhh! imageisgust

For those of you who do search and certify statehood quarters, where do you get them?

most people seem to get them from picking mint sets and submitting them. I tried my luck one time with the state quarters, got back a MS66 Maryland from PCGS, it came from a mint set, but I like the coin because the reverse is semi-PL.

I have 4 unopened, orange and white state quarter rolls. These are the federally wrapped ones. I'll sell them for $15 a roll.

The mint sets are expensive right now. If you cut these sets up and make rolls
you'll lose money. So you have to find some high grade coins. Most of these coins
are tough to find high grade so your best bet is to look through someone else's
sets and pick out the nice ones. A few of these coins do go into circulation. The
best examples tend to bunch up in rolls, bags, and larger shipments. They can of-
ten be found by tracking down the source of nice coins you see in circulation. Just
ask the cashier where they do their banking and go there to buy a quantity. You'll
probably have to talk to a manager and pay a premium, but it does work.
