Hello, and thank you for viewing. We are pleased to be offering not only one of the scarcest, but also one of the most popular of all Franklin varieties! A 1952 bugs bunny Franklin proof, there are many bugs bunny Franklins known for being on many dates/mints. The 1952 is THE ONLY ONE KNOWN ON A PROOF SO FAR (it went undiscovered up until 2014). Which is crazy because the only other bugs that even compares to this one is the 1955 business strike, not to imply this one is more extreme than the 1955 b.s. bugs bunny, but compare them side by side and it is hard to discern which is more extreme or more noticeable... When this variety was first discovered it was said by the experts that it would be absolutely impossible for a die clash of this magnitude to be out there on a proof from this ERA. The line of thinking was due to the proof minting process back in 1952, the proofs that were struck were each individually handled by a mint employee, as they came out of the die press.
It is a great coin, one that will no doubtedly become more and more pursued by collectors, as we know they arent making more of them. The coin is being offered in true auction style! Starting at .99 cents and with no reserve. It is Consigned to GreatCollections and the auction ends in 14 days from today! Here is a link...
