I learned many years ago that cards out of a fresh pack, being vintage or modern, does not always equal mint cards.

Im too puzzled by all the psa 9, as i collect heritage also, grader of death maybe.

A few were 9s for sure when I sent them in to make the Judge look better. I knew the Pujols was not a 10 as well as one of the Poseys. I did want the complete action Variation set so I just sent all I had. Some will be cracked if I think they have a shot at 10s

It looks like PSA thought all the OP's cards were MINT or better. Do we really expect the grader's coin to come up heads every time?

Here are the scans of the Action Variation set

Several will be cracked and resubbed. Like I said I am happy would rather hit a 10 on the Judge and 9s on the rest than the opposite

I disagree. I think l/r is worse on the Posey and Donaldson than all of the other except the Pujols
