September 25, 2001 3:21PM for me. I remember signing up before my first Long Beach show that was going on that week. So close after 9/11, remembering how eerily quiet the airports were when catching my flights to the show.
April 2003, I had submitted some coins through member KAZ, whom I had met on rec.collecting.coins (another throwback), and he invited me here to share the results.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

August 27, 2002 for me. I've always been more of a lurker, but I've sure appreciated all the neat things I've learned!
I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!
I lurked on the old forum before joining and still remember what my first post was about --- there was a thread where some members were arguing about the grades that they received from PCGS and in a nutshell stating that they were right and PCGS was wrong. my first post essentially said that the graders at PCGS looked at more coins and had far greater knowledge than almost all of us, that I would trust them over the members.

July 19th, 2001 for me. I just noticed they now have "badges," "notifications," and "member points" with the new software.
