Post a Randy Johnson Marlboro Ad Man

I was digging into my hoard last night targeting the 89 Fleer boxes.

Some of the smaller boxes were only commons. Three large 4 column flats were looming. Found one packed with stars (alas no Griffey).

In the first flat the previous searchers left behind 22 examples of Randy Johnson. Two were Marlboro Ad Man varieties, another had the Green Obscured, with the others to be determined. A few definitely look to be "black" obscured varieties based on the ink.

Pretty cool find. Almost perfect centering on front and back with sharp corners.

What was equally interesting was the distribution of varieties in the 3200 count (?) box.

Still got 9000 +/- Fleer '89's to search :s

Side note: A number of Billy Ripken but only the black square variety.

Add those to the Nolan Ryan '90 Donruss Error cards, a nice minty variety of Bo Jackson, three Bill Belichick's and the hoard has some interesting keepers.

    I have about a half dozen of the Randys where I can perceive a difference, and same for Billy ( but some of those I have collected I know to be fakes, which I think have in a way become collectible in themselves). I know some folks on here have bazillions of each and great web sites picturing them

    Also included is one of the Treadway "targets" and the Hernandez disappearing triangle

    Nice little premium of Treadway for a raw card.

    It would be nice to find 22 of these...LOL

    No telling how many Treadway, Hernandez, Orsulak's zipped past me last night.

    I'm pretty sure the Treadway comes up about as often the Rick face maybe less.

    There are 14 of the very rare Treadway target "error" cards on eBay now :)

    It looks like the Hernandez is a small pink area next to his left arm above the "T" in DETROIT on his uniform, you can see it on the second card a few posts up.

    Found another with black box.

    Bid on a PSA 9 Marlboro and it went for $50. Thinking mine are 9's so that is good news.
