With display and original inserts.....One of my favorite Topps vintage collectibles.....it had been awhile since I took this out of storage for a look, so thanks for the encouragement! :)

Hiya Al - thanx for bringing up something different. Got a display to go with it? Nice.

I've got a bunch of old pubs I'd like to share - do you have any. Lunch?

Wow - Travis - very nice display items - I like stuff like this.

Mike I've truly enjoyed the fortunate turns which have allowed me to acquire such items. Those days are long gone in the rear view. I had another full gum display, but eBay'd it many moons ago at the behest of a partner who shared in the acquisition. Oh well. It would be a thrill to find another not already in a showcase with price tag. ;)

    Agree Travis.

Tho I look all the time hoping to find something that would display really well.

While I appreciate someone's PSA 10, I find stuff like you just posted way more interesting. Thanx for sharing.

    Al and Travis,

Thanks for sharing some photos of an item I had not seen before.

The gum container looks like it would make a colorful display piece. :+1::+1:

I have not tried the gum posted above. I have tried the gum below, Topps 1981 Thirst Break, which came with wrapper that included a comic with various sports figures from multiple sports, including baseball. I think there are 54 in the set, 20 baseball. The gum was originally orange. It is now brown and very gooey. I put the full set together but separating the gum from the comic is an ordeal

As long as we're on gum - here's one.

1978 Marvel Sugar Free Bubble Gum - Topps Chewing Gum Co.

And I have an original artwork laminate overlay proof - there's the hand painted part, a clear acetate part with black ink:

    and the 2 over-layed:
