Hope someone can help.
He looks young - like the 50s.
That doesn't look like the Polo Grounds or Candlestick.
I'm thinking spring training?
More than likely early 60's (could be 59). As Mike mentioned, he looks relatively young in this picture. Can you make out any other marks, words, or signs in the background? Anything I may not be able to see on the scan?
"In 1958 the Colonial Baking Company changed its bread recipe and its name to Rainbo." (http://www.okhistory.org/publications/enc/entry.php?entry=CO030)
This image was taken at Francisco Casa Grande in maybe '62.
edit: sorry, it was 1964; doesn't look too much older in the image either. Apparently they started spring ball there in '62.
Here's an image from Phoenix Municipal Stadium I from 1955 with a Rainbo Bread sign:
I think that's the one, just a different season.
That 1955 one seems more like it. He looks real young so i was thinking early to mid 50's
Can you see the logo on his cap?
Ya the jersey and cap logo were used until 1957
Spring training in AZ. Francisco Casa Grande ball park.
Sweet photo! Looks like a million dollars! Happy and young and no resentments1
That would make it 1962 or later
And in 1962 they were the san francisco giants. The uniform is a NY Giants uniform
In blowing up the OP photo, the cap logo appears to be SF.

That's what I thought, too.

Thanks for the link. Great seeing the pixs of the old ballparks.
