I guess some raw cards from NESC can be somewhat winners

Picked this up for $2.50 on eBay and looked very sharp so I decided to get it graded. There were like 5 mint ones to choose from and I think I got the best one. I think the back centering is what killed its shot at a 10, not the eye defect on the bottom. I've seen 10's with the same spots. I'll post the back later when I get home. But even pulling 9's, this will make me consider getting cards from them in the future.

You know, I thought that too. But I've seen the same card on eBay in a 10 with a fish eye and thought it had a chance. Do they definitely dock for fish eyes or is it subjective.

It depends on the fisheye and how prominent it is. That one is fairly noticeable and I wouldn't expect a PSA 10 card to have a fisheye like that. It's ok for a 9, which is the grade you got, but I also agree that centering L/R is not good enough for a 10, especially when you consider the fisheye, too.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
This card was also a NESC purchase for $1.50 raw that I just got back as well. Totally forgot it was from them until I looked at my purchase history. Anyone know the value of this card in both base and chrome?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Yea I'm aware they sell 4sharps leftovers. The first couple of the 2015 Topps #1 Jeters I own were from them. But it just seems like a generic price and not a true price guide value. Although I see them usually selling graded cards for $5-7 over PSA's guide value so I guess their prices are close to actual value. I now have a few of these cards in 10's.
I've also saved money buying directly from their website vs eBay. They are usually a few dollars cheaper that way, $2-5 cheaper.
