2014 UD The Cup Redemption ?

Hello, new to the forum. Had a quick question. I was recently lucky enough to get a 2014 UD The Cup Red Foil RC Auto Tag out of /3 Pastrnak redemption. From what I am told he has not signed anything from 2014 The Cup. After 45 days if the player has not signed I am told you then have the option to get what Upper Deck calls a "comparable replacement". Has anyone had this take place with any of their cards and if so were they pleased or saddened by the "comparable replacement" they received. Anything I have seen on youtube regarding this matter has been frustrating. ANY help would be super appreciated.
