First Red Flip Submission - Which Option Should I Choose???

raiderguy10raiderguy10 Posts: 2,141 ✭✭✭

I've never done a red flip submission before - which option should I choose on these? I literally cannot tell what would be a PSA 10 vs a PSA 6......pitiful I know.

1) Grade card & Grade Signature
2) Grade card & Authentic SIgnature
3) Authentic Card & Grade Signature
4) Authentic Card & Authentic SIgnature

Depends on the purpose... PC, sell, etc?

Man, all of those 86's look handcut from a sheet. Don't think they would even garner a number grade.
I would do option 3 on the White and both Rices. Option 4 for the Young, Marino and Ryan. And give Option 1 a shot on the Sanders and Delaney.

    Looking to maximize investment.

Can I do different levels for different cards on the same submission form, or would option one need to be a submission, option to a second submission etc

I just got my results from a dual grade submission. As mentioned, it really depends on purpose. 14 of the 15 cards in my submission are for my registry sets, therefore the card grade is important for me. The auto grade is just an added bonus to me if it is a 9 or 10 (I can't really tell a difference on auto grade @ 9/10). So if the auto is crisp to me I would get it graded, if it is streaky I would just authenticate the signature. The auto grade is currently not included in the overall grade for the registry sets.

Lol I'm still a blue die hard. But I understand the red will be better for selling on these

    This won't help much, but after studying the scans here is my opinions;
Ryan/Kooseman, Steve Young, Dan Marino,- 2) Grade card & Authentic SIgnature.
Rice (blue flip), Sanders, White - 1) Grade card & Grade Signature
Delaney - Leave as is unless the card is sharp.
Raw Jerry Rice. Signature looks nothing like the other one, but if your going to do it; option 2, but grade wont be high.

The rice raw is an early career signature

If you split up services, you'll have a lot of shipping costs, unless you wait to build a critical mass or piggyback with others.

That's what I was thinking also. Think I'll wait for the next red flip bulk sub for everything except the raw Rice, White, and Young. So with just those 3 would you do just authentic Card and graded signature even though young won't be good or do you just grade the cards to?

I'd just grade the cards, not the auto
