Hi I found this while cashing in my loose change my girlfriends mother is a coin collector and says she is pretty sure it's a liberty nickel. Here is the face of it and the other side is so worn it looks like smooth steel. Thank you for your help!!!

It is a liberty head nickel. A better picture will be needed to determine the date
