Anyone here use Ebates? How does it work?

I heard someone talking about ebates and using it to get cash back on ebay purchases. How does it work? Do you just sign up, make an account, and it automatically knows when you make purchases? Does it automatically put the money in your ebates account? And how do you redeem? Is it a check, or paypal, or what? Just looking for general info on ebates. Thanks!

After you sign up, you just click on the link for ebay on their site before placing a bid. As long as you navigate to ebay using their portal, you will earn cash back for any ebay purchases, depending on the category. Right now, it's 5% for sportscards & memorabilia. Cash back is deposited quarterly and you can set that up via paypal or have a check mailed to you. Here is my referral link, if you haven't already signed up. I believe you get a $10 bonus right now for registering a new account, too.

You have to click through - go to ebates, then click ebay, and it'll open ebay w/ ebates active.

Or, you can do what I do, and install the Chrome plug-in, which is basically a button in your browser to turn on ebates when it is available.

They will either send you a check or PP, whichever you prefer, and it is done quarterly.

They provide rebates for a ton of other things and not just ebay. I have done the best w/ hotels.
