RIP Adam West (Batman)

With only 3 tv channels and living in the 60s, he was great entertainment and a hero to us young folks..

RIP Mr. West. (WOW, I can't believe he was 88 years old.) I too loved watching that show after school when I was a kid.

I sent the below card to BATMAN in September 2011 and he signed it for me.

    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I didn't watch the show during it's original airing, but growing up in the 80's it provided my brother and I hours of entertainment. This show along with Leave it to Beaver and the Brady Bunch were the three shows in syndication that we just watched over and over growing up. Sad to hear of Mr. West's passing.

Heard him on the Dan LeBatard show on the radio a couple of weeks ago. He sounded good and made no mention of his illness. Rest in peace Batman.

RIP. When I lost interest in collecting sports cards, I went back to comics and only towards Batman. Adam was my biggest influence growing as a kid back in the early '70s. RIP Caped Crusader.
