Which baseball card from the 1960's

featured the three best players of their time. I say the 1966 Topps #215 Batting Leaders Clemente, Aaron and Mays

  • Always loved that card. For some reason Topps included the Milwaukee logo on Hank's hat here, but on his base card the used the Atlanta logo.

1968 Superstars (Mantle, Mays, Killebrew) is not a bad choice. 1960 HR Leaders has Banks, Aaron and Mays which is just as good but Boyer is the 4th. My personal favorite is 1963 home run leaders - 5 HOF Aaron, Robinson, Mays, Banks and Cepeda. Your choice to me is second to the 1963 HR.

Good eye, never noticed Aaron's cap is from his Milwaukee team

Sort of creepy what they did with Ernie's right cheek in the photo above.

It can't beat most of the ones above, but 1964 NL HR leaders is pretty decent too.

It does not get much better than this.

'66 was the first year in Atlanta. The early cards of Braves players in that set were all hatless photos because they didn't have anything with the new cap. Hank is a semi-high number, so they had time to get a shot of him in the new hat, like some of the other later series guys like Bobby Bragan and Ken Johnson.
