PSA Label Differences - Just Variations or Evidence of Fraud?
Ok, I have read numerous discussions on here with the theme of "is the flip real?" or whatnot. Many times, someone points to the font or something else about the label and says its not right. Well, help me out here. At the link below(if I have it right) are 10, 1985 Mark McGwire's all graded PSA 8. If the link doesn't work, its COMC, look for the 85's graded 8. The font seems to vary somewhat on many of the labels, and the bar code even runs off the white on two of them(look at the last two). Do PSA labels really vary this much, or are some of those possible fakes?

I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.

It is just the way they are printed. I have seen labels were things were not lined up and indents were all over the place.
All good. Many of the ancient labels were printed somewhat sloppily.
This was posted over on Net54. Has a lot of good label info.
