NESC selling unopened

Been noticing that they have been selling unopened stuff at auction. I've never seen them do that. In fact in the three years I've been back I don't remember them doing auctions,

Crack a case, stop opening packs when all the stars have been hit, make Frankenstein boxes with remainder of packs, list, cha-ching.

Exactly. I wouldn't touch unopened from NESC.

    Collecting PSA 9's from 1970-1977. Raw 9's from 72-77. Raw 10's from '78-'83.
Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks.
    Prefer to buy in bulk.

From looking at it further it's junk era stuff mostly. More likely they aren't getting a deep grading discount anymore. Selling lots of sets raw too.

This is what I was thinking. They already had several wrinkles where grading cards take place before the raw cards they list. It goes from wax case/box rip to 4sharpcorners for grading to nasc's graded account, then his raw singles one, then his raw bulk & sets account. Each shift along the way the top cards are removed for grading until the raw cards he is known for selling. He eliminated more cards from the submission stages due to PSA drawing the line on a price break was my guess also.
