$50 and $100 small size national banknotes, Scarce????

Hi guys. I'm more of a coin Guy. I see lots of 5/10/20 small size nationals , but I'm wondering how scarce , or common, the 50 and 100 are in general (or , a 50 from LA cal , charter 2491 or a 100 from Des Moines Iowa, charter 2307)

Thanks!

Here are the numbers from the National Bank Note Census CD that came with the 6th Edition of Kelly's from 2008 for small size Nationals:

    $5 29T1/T2 24,716/14,883
    $10 29T1/T2 58,715/19,270
    $20 29T1/T2 44,531/11,891
    $50 29T1/T2 3,836/343
    $100 29T1/T2 2,415/270

    Putting it into percentages:
The $50 & $100s make up 4.66% of the T1 Nationals and 1.3% of the T2s and 3.79% of all the Small size nationals.
These numbers will obviously be different in the more current census databases that I don't have access to.

For the 2 Banks you mentioned, Both only issued Type 1 Small size Nationals.

For Ch# 2491 65 $50s are known as of 2008 and 47 $100s. There were 37 sales of $50s at Heritage, last one 2 years ago.

    For Ch# 2307 13 $50s are known as of 2008 and 12 $100s. Only 1 $100 sale on Heritage back in 2008.

I would say obtaining the Des Moines $100 will be tough.
