Need help pricing....

Good afternoon,
My buddy found a lot of 70's cards from a garage sale. I am interested in buying them from him, but I'm not sure what to offer him as a fair value. Any help? There's some stars mixed in, not sure how many except what's showing.

Thanks for any help!

Offer him a $100-150, work hard and double your $. Just a wild estimate, assuming those stars are around EX and the larger stacks just piddly commons. Check for high #'s

I wonder if there's more hockey than that small stack. Could be a nice Dryden in there, who knows?
